Booking Policy
A simple guide to requesting, confirming and arranging consultancy sessions through MTECH CONSULTING.
Start with a request, then confirm the details.
MTECH CONSULTING provides fixed-scope IT infrastructure and cloud consultancy services for small and growing organisations.
Customers can select a consultancy service and submit their preferred requirements, date and time through the website.
The booking process is designed to allow the requirements to be reviewed before a consultation is confirmed.
Submitting a booking request does not automatically confirm an appointment. MTECH CONSULTING will review the request and contact the customer before the booking is confirmed and payment is arranged.
A four-step process.
Select a service
Choose the consultancy service that best matches the technology area you would like to discuss.
Submit your requirements
Provide your contact details, preferred date and time, selected service and any relevant information about what you would like the consultation to cover.
Review and confirmation
MTECH CONSULTING reviews the request and contacts the customer to discuss the consultation arrangements and confirm a suitable appointment.
Arrange payment
Once the consultation has been confirmed, payment is arranged before the agreed service takes place.

Your preferred appointment.
Customers can provide a preferred consultation date and time when submitting a booking request.
The date and time entered through the website are preferences only and are not automatically reserved.
The final appointment is agreed after the booking request has been reviewed and discussed with the customer.
If the preferred time is not available, an alternative date or time will be discussed with the customer.
Remote consultancy by default.
Consultancy sessions are normally delivered remotely using an agreed communication method.
Customers should have access to a suitable device, a reliable internet connection and any information that is relevant to the agreed consultation.
If a different consultation arrangement is required, this can be discussed during the booking confirmation process.
Useful information helps us prepare.
Customers should provide information that is relevant to the selected consultancy service.
- The organisation’s general technology requirements.
- The main reason for requesting the consultation.
- Relevant information about existing IT or cloud services.
- Any particular technology areas the customer would like to discuss.
- The preferred consultation date and time.
Customers do not need to provide unnecessary information. Only information relevant to the consultation should be included in the booking request.
Payment is arranged after confirmation.
MTECH CONSULTING does not treat the initial booking form as an immediate payment transaction.
After a booking request has been received, the details are reviewed and the customer is contacted to confirm the consultation.
Payment is then arranged after the appointment and service details have been confirmed.
The booking request itself does not mean that payment has been taken, an appointment has been reserved or the consultancy service has started.
What your selected service covers.
Each consultancy service has a defined scope. Customers should review the individual service description before submitting a booking request.
The consultation may include discussion of the current technology environment, requirements, planning considerations and practical recommendations relevant to the selected service.
Additional work
Hardware supply, software licences, third-party subscriptions, system installation, migration, configuration, implementation projects and ongoing managed IT support are not included unless specifically agreed.
If additional work is requested, the requirements and any associated price will be discussed separately before that work is undertaken.
Need to move your consultation?
Customers who need to change an agreed appointment should contact MTECH CONSULTING as soon as reasonably possible.
An alternative date or time can be arranged where availability allows.
A preferred replacement time is not guaranteed until it has been confirmed.
When plans change.
Customers may request cancellation of a booking by contacting MTECH CONSULTING.
Where payment has not yet been arranged, the booking request can simply be withdrawn.
Where payment has already been made, the cancellation will be handled in accordance with the applicable Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Customers should provide cancellation requests as early as possible so that the consultation arrangements can be updated accordingly.
If you cannot attend.
If a customer is unable to attend a confirmed consultation, they should contact MTECH CONSULTING as soon as possible.
Where reasonable notice is provided, an alternative appointment may be arranged subject to availability.
If a customer does not attend and does not make contact, the booking will be reviewed according to the circumstances and the stage of the service.
When a booking becomes confirmed.
A consultation is considered confirmed once the proposed service, appointment arrangements and payment arrangements have been discussed and agreed with the customer.
A date or time entered into the website booking form should not be treated as confirmation until the customer has received confirmation through the agreed communication method.
Making the consultation useful.
Consultancy recommendations are based on the information available during the agreed engagement and the requirements discussed with the customer.
Customers remain responsible for considering recommendations in the context of their own organisation, existing systems, contractual arrangements and future requirements.
Where third-party products or services are discussed, customers should review the relevant supplier’s current information before making a purchasing or implementation decision.
Preparing for the session.
- Provide relevant information before or during the consultation.
- Make relevant systems or documentation available where required for the agreed discussion.
- Attend the consultation at the agreed time.
- Raise important requirements or constraints during the consultation.
- Review any recommendations provided after the session.
The consultation is intended to provide useful professional guidance, and good preparation can help make the available session time more productive.
Information submitted during booking.
Information provided through a contact or booking form is handled in accordance with the website’s Privacy Policy.
Customers should avoid including information that is not needed for arranging or preparing for the consultation.
Further information about the collection and use of personal information is available in the Privacy Policy.
Service availability and descriptions.
Service descriptions, prices and availability displayed on the website may be updated from time to time.
The service information available at the time of booking will be used when reviewing the request.
If a service or appointment cannot be arranged as requested, the customer will be contacted to discuss the available options.
Other information to review.
